step stool

Make this step stool for less than $10!

Project cost: less than $10

Project time to completion: 40 min

Project materials: (2) 8' long 2"x4" lumber, 2" wood screws, saw, drill, measuring tape, pencil

We already had 2x4 laying around our garage, but you can pick them up at your hardware store for around $3 a piece. Cut your lumber down to two 7", two 10", two 10.5", two 14" and four 16" pieces.

Line up your 7", 10.5" and 14" pieces in a row. Lay a 10" piece across all 3, with the top edge lining up with the top of the 7" piece; drill in 3 screws. Repeat these steps.

Stand upright and screw in your 16" pieces across the top.

    For Guillaume:- 1" = 2,54 cm so 16" = 40,64 cm

Don't waste your time or money unless you want to use it for a plant stand. It's small & their photo makes it look larger. A child could use it..Fortunately not a lot of money or time invested in it.

Perfect to help an older cat or dog get up on furniture or a window.

Nice project. I used Lowe's best 2X4s and Gorilla wood glue. My grand daughter will use it.
